YOGA

Beginners Slow Flow: The foundation to yoga starts here. This class is for those who have always wanted to try a yoga class, but felt too intimidated to walk in. Our Instructors will be detailed and clear. Vinyasas will be slow and precise. Emphasis will be on correct breathing and finding your comfort zone.

Restorative: Restorative yoga is a very gentle yoga practice designed to calm the nervous system and create overall health in the body. Restorative yoga is the yoga of non-doing, and focuses on effortlessness and ease, using well-placed blankets, bolsters, yoga straps, and chairs to safely support the body in various postures. When the body is fully supported, it will naturally relax, releasing deeply held tensions which invokes a natural state of balance, regeneration, and healing rest.

Mixed Level Flow: Come one, come all. This class is designed to allow everyone to practice to their personal limit. Each pose and vinyasa will be instructed offering modifications to work at your desired level. As this class moves at a slightly faster pace, previous yoga experience is suggested but not required.

Gentle Hatha: Hatha is an alignment based practice with emphasis on strength, flexibility, and balance as well as breath control.  Class is great for those who just starting out, anyone with limited mobility, or those just wanting a gentler approach to yoga

Fierce Flow: This strong vinyasa flow class uses upbeat music to intensify your workout.  Be ready to experience sequences that include more advanced postures, arm balances, inversions and standing poses. This class will rock your chakras and your world! Previous yoga experience is suggested.

Pulse Power (Bootcamp): Our version of bootcamp. This classis designed to bring you maximum results by keeping your muscles guessing with its ever-changing format and exercises. The one thing you can ALWAYS count on is mad caloric burn and a well-rounded total body workout! Don’t be intimidated by the name. ALL FITNESS LEVELS are welcome.

Pulse Partio Twerkout: Energetic and fun dance choreography set to the driving beats of hip-hop, pop and salsa, reggae, even bollywood jams! This class is for anyone who likes to shake it and wants a sweat session. So much fun you'll forget you’re working out. No prior dance experience necessary.

WHAT TO BRING

 

Bring water and a towel. We also recommend bringing a personal yoga mat, but we do have some available to borrow as well. Make sure you have a separate pair of workout shoes that have not been used as street shoes for any fitness class you attend. Yoga classes will be done bare foot.

Work out while your kids have fun!


Just because your kids come first doesn’t mean your fitness has to come last. The Pulse Playground is a fun place for children ages 4 months to 11 years. It’s a safe and supervised environment where your young ones can play while you exercise. 

When registering for classes online, be sure to register your little ones in the playroom the same way.  Playroom rate is $1 for each child up to 2 hours. (There is a 2 hour max per day).  We prefer you register and pay online prior to coming in, but drop ins will always be accommodated.  

Playroom Rules:

 Please change your child prior to bringing them to the Child Watch Room. The staff will not change diapers. Parents are encouraged to use the in studio changing table with infants. In addition, please have older children use the restroom before drop off.  

Water only for all children who are not infants. No other drinks or food are allowed in the room. 

Parents will be asked to intervene if a child exhibits excessive emotional distress for longer than 10-15 minutes.

Children who are sick (i.e., continual cough, conjunctivitis or any other contagious illness) are not allowed in the Child Watch Room. If your child is unable to attend school due to illness, they are unable to be in the Child Watch Room. STAFF MAY REFUSE ENTRANCE INTO THE ROOM TO SICK CHILDREN.

We recognize that each child has a unique personality and disposition. We will do our best to work with every child. In the case of behavioral issues, our staff may need to fill out an incident report. Child Watch Staff are required to discuss incident reports when they occur.

Repetitive unsafe behavior will be documented and handled on a case-by-case basis. It may be necessary for a family to take a leave of absence from the Child Watch Room (not to exceed 90 days) if the staff feel it is necessary for the health and safety of others in the program.  

 
 

PERSONAL TRAINING  /  PRIVATE YOGA

IN STUDIO private sessions start at $60 an hour.  

Small group sessions and special party classes are available by rewquest.
